If you’re interested in having some custom work done on an effect pedal, drop us a line! We’ve done several mods for custom pedals in the past, including:
- Expression In jack to control a pot or switch
- True-bypass switch conversion to get rid of tone-sucking
- Switches for bypassing tone, noise gates, etc.
- Upgrading / replacing caps and transistors for a unique sound
- Multi-color LEDs for display settings, true-bypass, etc.
- Power plug polarity (center positive to negative)
Custom work is warrantied for the life of the pedal, but please note the pedals themselves are not warrantied by us (some mods may void your pedal’s original warranty). Contact us here for custom work (also include a description of the pedal you would like us to mod).
Munch Audio can also help you design a custom effect pedal from scratch. Want to control distortion with an envelope follower, create a tremolo octave up/down, add reverb to a pitchshifting overdrive, or simply cram two classic effects into one pedal? We’ve got you covered! Let us know the sound(s) you’re looking for, and we’ll build one into a Hammond 1590 A, B or BB size box depending on the size of the circuit and knobs required. Custom pedal services include circuit design, drill, paint and decals. We can even put your own custom artwork right on top! To receive a quote on custom pedals, send us an email with a brief description of your pedal idea and requirements.
Repairs are also possible on non-working pedals, though we can’t guarantee a repair until we receive it for testing. Average turnaround time is two weeks, not including wait times for ordering parts. Contact us with questions about specific repairs.
